Besides academics, the school gives equal importance to curricular, extra curricular (quizzes, debates, competitions – inter-class, inter house, inter school) and co-curricular activities like -Science and Maths exhibitions, Sports, Elocution, Art and Craft, Field Trips and Excursions, Social Occasions, Athletics and several other competitions for overall development of the students. The school also arranges parent guidance workshops and personality development sessions for the students. At AIPMUPS, co-curricular activities are structured and balanced with the scholastic academic curriculum so that every student gets the opportunity to learn beyond studies.
Value Education is given to the students during assembly and Deeniyat is inculcated by arranging various Hamd, Naat, Ahadees telling and Elocution Competitions etc.
Annual Inter House Sports Meet is held in which Noor Nursery to Class 4 participate in different Races and group games like Langdi, Kho-Kho, DodgeBall these help to develop sportsmanship and make the students confident.

Awards and Achievements

From the very first day, Anjuman-I-Islam’s Urdu Pre-Primary and Primary School students have a spirit of working hard and achieving success. The staff and students of AIPMUPS strive regularly to give their best and bring laurels and accolades to the school by winning prizes in different competitions in Academics, Co-Curricular Activities and Sports. We believe that achievements are not possible without hard work.

Inter-School Qirat and Art Competitions

In 1991 our Urdu Primary School arranged the Inter-School Qirat and Art Competition. 18 to 20 Primary Schools participated in these competitions.

  1. Senior group as Class 5 to 7
  2. Junior group as Class 3 and 4.

Inter-School G.K. Quiz Contest

Our member- Dr. Mushtaq Mukadam has been sponsoring this competition since 2018.

Performing Arts

The students are trained in folk dances, skits, plays and they participate in various school competitions.

Scout-Guide

Our school started the Scout-Guide movement in June 2013.
This is beneficial to our students in educational movement for the young people and is open to all without distinction of origin, race or creed. The purpose of this movement is to contribute to the development of young people. As a Scout/ Guide, the young boys/ girls may undertake lots of activities relating to community development, social service, adventure activities, environmental conservation, vocational skills, national integration, spirit of patriotism, brotherhood, loyalty, discipline, leadership. These activities enable a young person in making them a responsible citizen.

Primary students are called cubs (boys)/ bulbuls (girls). Our Cub Unit is named Shahid Abdul Hameed and our bulbul unit is named Razia Sultan.Cubs and bulbuls is the first lap in the journey towards scouting and guiding. It prepares them to take up bigger tasks in scouting and guiding and helps in their mental and physical growth. Children learn to be independent and to live life in a disciplined manner.
