Anjuman-I-Islam’s VM & DM Urdu Primary School (AIPMUPS) is a co-education secular day school located in the serene green and sprawling Peermohamed campus at Bund Garden Road, Pune, India; catering to the needs of all communities where most are first-generation students. A semi-english pattern of teaching is being followed in our school since 2013. The School is part of the Valimohamed and Dostmohamed Peermohamed Muslim Girls’ Orphange Trust managed by the esteemed Anjuman-I-Islam an educational conglomerate which have been associated in the field of education since 1874 with campuses across Mumbai (Bombay), New Mumbai, Panvel, Pune and Panchgani. The school is a Muslim Minority Institute but espouses secular credentials in all aspects- be it enrollments, recruitment or the imparting of education.

This campus is a hub of activity with nearly 3500 students present in various institutions every day.
The School was set up in June 1925 with 20 children, catering initially to Standard I to VII. In 1971, the Primary and High School were segregated. Keeping in mind our little ones, the Pre-Primary School was started in 1980. With the generosity and help of the Bassam family, the Nursery school was set up in the year 1999 with just 100 students in the Pre-primary wing named as Noor Nursery Urdu Medium School, Pune. Currently, Anjuman-I-Islam’s VM & DM Urdu Primary School (AIPMUPS) has the capacity to accommodate 600 children.
